Slaughter With Care consultants can be hired to come to your slaughterhouse. We look at the design of your plant and equipment to see what causes animals to hesitate or to panic. We observe the handling of animals and make suggestions on how personnel can move animals more effectively without causing frustration, fear or unnecessary noise.
After a short evaluation we can identify areas that can be improved on and how. Sometimes it is just a question of improving design and infrastructure (reduce shadows and reflection and air drafts, dampen or redirect noise, reduce time pressure on one stunning area, increase lighting, get rid of flickering lights etc..).

Training
Sometimes it requires also the training of the staff (better handling techniques, reducing noise they create, getting out of the animals’ view etc…). Our trainings always consist of both theory and practice, as most people retain information best when immediately shown in practice what they were taught in the classroom.
